A casserole dish, lightweight in cast aluminium, and ideal if you're looking for a dish that is much lighter than cast iron. Aluminium is a great heat conductor, giving an even and quick cook, but as this dish is oven safe up to 200°C (392°F), you can also use it to make dishes which require a slow cook.
In fresh lavender this 2.5 Litre (7 Pint) casserole dish has two handles, a top knob and a scratch-proof layer which acts as a non-stick surface. When covered, the lid acts to help bast the contents, catching steam and moisture as the ingredients are heated.
