Paint Buzz was established four years ago when Mary Zacaroli was asked to become the stockist for Frenchic in Oxford. She already loved using these innovative, eco-friendly, high-quality, non-toxic products with their beautiful colours, textures and finishes that make it easy to give old, unloved furniture and walls a new lease of life. Mary saw it as a way to bring together her long-standing interest in nurturing our internal and external worlds. One can create something beautiful and useful quite simply and also craft something unusual and complex with ease. This is very good for self-confidence and a lot of fun to do.
Mary spent the first few years working with third-sector organisations and running workshops in Oxfordshire with charities such as Aspire, Order of St John’s Care Trust and Farmability, working with people of all ages and vulnerabilities. Using Frenchic paints, with a group of volunteers, she decorated a dilapidated house for a homeless women’s project that has become a model of how to turn a women’s hostel into a home. Meanwhile Frenchic has gone from strength to strength, winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category, and extending its range of wall and furniture paints.
Now Mary is coming to Yarnton Home & Garden to introduce the products to a wider audience. As a huge fan herself, she wants to show you all the amazing things you can do with this versatile paint.
Visit the Paint Buzz pop-up from 22nd to 28th November 2021 where you can browse Frenchic products, gifts, gift certificates and furniture for sale. Mary will be demonstrating paint techniques throughout the week, and you’ll have the opportunity to sign up for Paint Buzz workshops.
We really look forward to welcoming Mary & Paint Buzz to Yarnton for some real-time creativity!
